Dunstans Road is a unique loft extension with a stunning roof terrace. We transformed an ordinary loft into an extraordinary living space by integrating a stylish roof terrace. While this approach reduced the overall internal floor area, it greatly enhanced the quality and experience of the adjoining space, bringing in natural light and creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
Our design approach was not only visually striking but also met planning requirements. By stepping back the dormer extension from the main structure, we introduced a sense of hierarchy and refined architectural form, ensuring the extension complemented the existing home. We also secured approval for an ‘L’ shaped loft design, optimizing the remaining loft space for maximum usability.
